Ryan is a licensed captain that has been raised on the waters of Pensacola, Fl. His father has taken him fishing since he was a toddler learning the ins and outs of the local fishery in the Florida panhandle. As an adult he began to travel outside of his local waters to compete in Redfish tournaments including The IFA Redfish Tour, Emerald Coast Professional Redfish Series, Oakley Redfish Tour, and The Elite Redfish Series. Ever since discovering Matrix Tackle when traveling to Louisiana he never leaves the dock without a Matrix Shad to throw on a spinnerbait or rigged under a popping cork. While competing in tournaments from South Florida to Louisiana he has learned many new techniques that he is now passing on to his two young daughters who seem to have the same passion for the outdoors as their father. Ryan competes in a 22ft Blazer Bay powered by a 225 Yamaha.
