Nick Varnado
My name is Nick Varnado. Originally from Folsom, I began my saltwater fishing adventure in the Florida Keys. Growing up on a sailboat I was given the opportunity to travel throughout the Caribbean and fish some of the greatest sport fishing grounds on earth. After returning to Louisiana for college I turned my attention back to redfish. Over the past few years I’ve fallen in love with sight fishing redfish. I have begun to compete in tournaments and in 2019 was the CCA tagged redfish champion, catching the only tagged redfish of the season. I plan on competing in the IFA redfish series next season and feel confident armed with matrix shad products.
