My name is Kalon Johnson from Thibodaux Louisiana, I’m a graduating senior at Nicholls State University Majoring in Business Management. I fish mainly the Houma and Golden Meadow areas but enjoys fishing new areas. I’ve been saltwater fishing for 15 years, it is my passion and it’s on my mind at all times! I fish local tournaments and rodeos here in Houma Louisiana. I enjoy taking others out fishing so they can understand why I love this sport so much. The thrill of seeing someone who doesn’t fish often reel in a nice black drum, redfish or trout is unexplainable. Matrix Shad is my confidence lure that seems to NEVER fail me. The action that this lure produces is amazing and the fish can’t get enough of it and it is definitely my number 1 lure! I will be working on my Captains License soon and I will also start competing in the Louisiana Saltwater Series and IFA in the near future.
