http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dMF-pTVjrQ Until water temps set in to the high 60’s and low 70’s its going continue to be a run and gun show popping corks in the twisting bayous that connect ponds deep in the marsh or settle for deep water live shrimp in bayou thomas or around the great wall and locks. We have still relied on sight fishing the reds in the ponds but with the trout starting to show face on the inside, having a popping cork rod is key. When we are running from pond to pond to we are armed with popping corks and and also fishing the creeks and cuts looking for the school trout. We have made several catches this month of 10-20 trout to go with a limit of reds. Don’t look for any wall hangers just yet though maybe in november. The few trout on the bridges right now are very nice but not many, although the action from the sheepshead and drum will keep you quite interested between trout bites. Look for November to catch fire as water temps lower. Until next time “Good Fishing” www.Matrixshad.com
