Hey y’all! My name is Amanda (Bergeron) Lewis. I’m born and raised in Bayou Gauche, Louisiana. You don’t grow up in a place like that and not know how to fish, however I didn’t realize until a few years ago how passionate I am about it! I spent my childhood racing BMX bikes and turned professional at the age of 16. I have two world titles representing team USA in the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) world championships. Right before I graduated high school, I tore my acl in an atv accident and that was pretty much the end of my cycling career. These days I’m a lab tech for an agricultural testing facility, Thionville Laboratories, and a fish-oholic on the weekends and every chance I have out on the water. What can I say, I just LOVE to fish. My whole family does! I am a mother to three awesome fisherman in training (Arianna 11, Kolby 10, and Alaine 2) and a wife to my wonderful husband Blaine Lewis. We fish both salt and fresh water, though salt water fishing is my absolute favorite. I’m far from a professional in this sport and I still have a lot to learn, but I certainly am enjoying every bit of the journey!
