As I write this I am looking out my window at the biggest NW wind of the year so far and plummeting temperatures. What will this do to the fish? Well I personally love when the water drops out for marsh fishing as it consolidates the fish into the deeper bayous driving them out of the shallows. You will mostly see the bass and redfish follow this pattern. If you are a trout enthusiast I would suggest going straight to the Great Wall after this blow and targeting that area as it is great after fronts. If you want to target the big girls in Pontchartrain you better give that a few days and wait for the front to really pass through and wait for the winds to shift back out of the SE. Watch the video to see where we did leave the Lake trout before this big blow.
