February is one of the more difficult times of the year but don’t give up completely. The best thing to do after a front is target the small reds that have plagued the area. Check all of our DockSide TV episodes on more info on that as that is what we have been doing all winter. I have noticed the loons showing up strong on the bridges which means the trout are right behind. On cloudy days with SE winds and before cold fronts I would start checking the bridges for some mule trout. You won’t catch many this time of year but the quality will make up for it. If its simply too wind this is a great month to target crappie and bass. Both species start gorging for the spawn making this month about the best their is for catching both bass and crappie. We have items to catch all these species at www.MatrixShad.com and we also have how to videos on Youtube simply search DockSide TV with the species you are looking for. Focus on episodes published in February.
