My name is Kevin Wartberg. I reside in Slidell, La., and have been fishing Lake Pontchartrain, Biloxi Marsh, and Hopedale for about 20 years now. Working all throughout the marsh in my 20′ Skeeter Bay is my favorite way to put em in the boat. I’ve been using Matrix/Vortex Shad since the day they were made. I watched Chas hand pour the first baits ever produced, and from then on its been my #1 weapon regardless of species. Double rigged under a popping cork and attached to a spinner blade are my most effective ways to use these baits. I love watching people’s reaction when they see these baits produce more bites than live bait. I put the word out, hand out, and promote these wonderful bad boys wherever I go.
