If you read our latest report in the September Marsh and Bayou magazine we were predicting the white shrimp to be pushed up and into all the bayous and canals on the northern end of the lake and that is exactly what has happened. We are seeing bank fisherman coming to fish off the side of the road, we have recently nailed the fish in bayou Liberty and Lacombe, also some reports of the Hwy 11 canal producing, along with Irish Bayou, Eden Isles and Lake Shore Estates. We are loaded up with live shrimp right now along with storm minnows at DockSide. We also have a great selection of Matrix Shad where “Midnight Mullet” has produced all week. Look for the bayou pattern to stay true till the end of september then LOOK OUT for the Doormats to move into the trestle just like last year. Until next time check out our videos from last year to see where the fish were at this time last year and compare them to the ones of this year. If you look at Video TS LEE vs. Hurricane Isaac it is almost identical.
