Steve and I made a trip ash Wednesday in the Reno skiff. We started out on tracks to find nothing then move over near chef rocks and made a drift picking up 4 nice trout on the midnight mullet matrix shad on a 5/16 oz golden eye as we were fishing the shallows in a high south wind. Fun easy afternoon trip boating 21 nice trout.
