Make sure to head straight for the bridges on pretty early doing days and duck off to the marsh and camp canals when winds get up. Last trip Capt Kris and I hit the bridges around mid day and found a mellow falling tide with an 8-16 mph wind. We were steady putting trout and surprisingly several reds in the boat. Before we knew it the wind were 15-20 mph so we snuck into Irish bayou and boated a couple bass to make a nice catch. Lure of choice was the midnight mullet Matrix Shad. Look for lake to get very good for early march.
