If it is trout you are looking for in the month of July make sure to focus deep. Light tides in the Rigolets passes should be your focal points. If you arrive to your spot and the tides are running too strong simply go bounce the rigs in lake borgne or chase triple tail on the crab floats until the tides mellow. Finding the change in tide on the rigolets bridges are crucial. High tide ranges make things tuff. Live shrimp will be most effective out of DockSide. If redfish is on your mind targeting those has been a lot more consistent. Make sure to focus hard on lake catherine, and lake borgne shorelines. Also the shoreline between Irish bayou and Chef Pass. If you enjoy sight fishing reds pick sunny days and find grassy ponds off the Inter-coastal Canal. Reds have been might thick this year and has been the sought after fish for us out of DockSide of late. Pink Champagne has been best color for reds.
