After a dismal November for the bridges but excellent for some other areas the tide has seemed to change for the eastern Lake Pontchartrain bridges. Decent catches of 10-35 trout have been coming into DockSide of late from the eastern shoreline of the lake all the way to the trestles. Live shrimp is still available and make sure to always keep your eyes peeled while fishing for diving birds. Every 5th day or so we are out there we have been running into the diving birds. When the birds div e that means shrimp which in return means Speck eating the shrimp so don’t pass them up. When winds are light make sure to beat the trestle. Matrix Shad’s have been producing about 90 percent trout on a days catch where live shrimp with catch everything out there lately. Come see us while the weather is still a winter warm and get in on the good action of late. www.MatrixShad.com
